Teenager N. Aisholpan broke gender barriers by practicing the ancient Kazakh art of eagle hunting. Her story has inspired many of our travelers, and others have treasured the opportunity to meet Aisholpan and her family on our journeys.

Aisholpan's courage inspired the 2016 BAFTA-nominated documentary, The Eagle Huntress, as well as the hit Sia single "Angel by the Wings." We are honored to collaborate with Aisholpan and her parents, Nurgaiv and Almagul, to promote Kazakh-Mongolian culture.
